The Hong Kong Art Gallery Association (HKAGA) and Asia Society Hong Kong Center (ASHK) are pleased to announce a one-month Sculpture Exhibition from Thursday, the 26th of March, to Sunday, the 26th of April.
Co-presented by ASHK and HKAGA and spearheaded by Henrietta Tsui-Leung (President Emeritus and Honorary Chair of HKAGA) and S.Alice Mong (Executive Director of ASHK), the exhibition aims to highlight the local art community through collaboration between galleries and cultural institutions, as well as to offer an artistic relief through public art during such challenging time in Hong Kong.
20 sculpture works from 18 local and international galleries will be displayed across the historical premises of Asia Society. You can find the list of participating galleries and artworks in the press releases attached.
In conjunction with the exhibition, an Art Talk programme will also be held at the Lippo Amphitheater of Asia Society on Saturday, the 28th of March. The programme will be live-streamed and reported by event partner CoBo Social to engage local, regional and international audience. Presenting an alternative form of interactive and informative programme built on the collective effort of our members, a total of six 30-minute talk sessions will be held, featuring HKAGA member gallerists and artists on a variety of subjects including the role of art in politics and society, Hong Kong art, art practice of exhibiting artists and more.
