Located at the heart of Kowloon Bay, MCL Telford Cinema opened in August 2008 and has a total of 6 houses. The innovative concept of mixing red, blue and green crystal stones gives the premise a sense of excitement and dazzle. MCL Telford Cinema has won itself three prestigious design awards - Gold Award in The Ring, iC@ward International Interior Design 2009 (Commercial Category), the International Architecture Award 2009 organized by The Chicago Athenaeum, USA and the Gold Award in the 17th Asia Pacific Interior Design Awards (Clubs and Entertainment Space Category). It is the first time in Hong Kong cinema history that a cinema complex is receiving these three important architectural and design recognitions all at a time. In addition, each cinema house is designed to include spacious leg room and is equipped with the latest audio-visual equipments and 3D digital projectors.
