Seeing the cityscape change in the past 5 decades, Mandarin Oriental planted its roots here in Hong Kong during the 1960’s and has since then been growing strong as a hotel group which now owns a total of 45 luxury hotels around the world. The flagship hotel here has been delivering quality services to loyal guests, and with a total of 850 staff, the hotel is always full of energy and provides excellent catering.
Welcomed by Chief Executive Edouard Ettedgui, General Manager and Area Vice President Jonas Schuermann and other Operations and hotel colleagues; yesterday night’s celebratory moment was attended by over 800 celebrities from around the world including names like Dame Helen Mirren, Maggie Cheung, Mary McCartney, Bryan Ferry, Vivienne Tam, Karen Mok, George Osborne, Boris Johnson, Olivier Krug, and Pansy Ho.Everyone was there to experience the evening with live music, dance performance by The City Contemporary Dance Company’s choreographer Willy Tsao and quality food menus by Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky and his team.
Ending the night with charity auctions; Mandarin Oriental is not only a stay over choice for tourists and guests, but also an important contributor to the culture of Hong Kong.
