kikki.K

This adorable stationery store has been stealing hearts since it opened, and is a paper junkie's dream come true. While a little pricier than the other places on the list, their products are amongst the most beautiful and draw on the thoughtful simplicity of Swedish design. Every season, they release charming new stationery collections that cover everything from travel journals to recipe lists. Design aficionados should definitely grab a copy of their Paper Lovers Book - it's basically stationery porn.

Muji

Muji is the epitome of Japanese minimalism, boasting a timeless collection of inks and notebooks that hardly ever change. Their budget friendly brown notebooks come in a variety of shapes and sizes, whether you're looking for something to slip into your pocket or heft around at work. The real winners here are their multicoloured pens and highlighters - there's nothing quite like the slick run of a good ink pen. Another perk of Muji is that on top of all the fun scribbling stuff, they've also got a great selection of storage solutions so you can keep all your goodies in one place.

Chung Nam Book and Stationery Co.

Holy stationery store Batman, this one's insane. This massive three floor shop in Yau Ma Tei is your go-to for a big shop and it stocks everything from paper to wholesale batches of pens. Walking in is like nipping into the stationery version of Aladdin's Cave, where you can get things like pencils and pads dirt cheap, or beef things up a little with some luxury ballpens. You'll also find a whole floor of arts & craft stuff for you to take home. Their brand new branch at Fortress Hill is also one not to be missed, albeit not as big!

Moleskine

Whether you're looking for a sleek professional diary or a quirky Star Wars notebook, Moleskine's got you sorted. While their notebooks are sold at most bookshops around Hong Kong, they have a relatively new dedicated store in IFC which showcases their classics and newest goods. The fun thing about Moleskine is that they have an insane range of notebooks for Simpsons geeks, The Little Prince hipsters and Potterheads.

Log-On

Home to the sweet and the wacky, Log-On is packed full of fun stationery that'll make even grocery lists a joy. Take a stroll through the store and you'll find miniature sushi erasers, rolls of beautiful washi tape and calendars galore. Plus, if you're so inclined, they also offer calligraphy lessons with the goddess of the fountain pen Kalo Make Art which will get you started on the basics.
