From 12pm till 2:30pm on Monday to Friday you can now visit MEATS and experience their tasty lunch menu.
At HK$148 (no service charge) per person, you get to choose one ‘Small’, one ‘Meats’, one ‘Sides’ and one ‘Sweets’. So that would be four items and the portions are decent sized too as you can see from our photos in this article.
There were two of us, so we started on two ‘Small’ dishes and ordered the Duck Salad and Meatballs (2pcs). The duck in the salad was a bit salty and combine that with the watermelon, it really was just the perfect combination. The meatballs was nice and juicy with a good amount of sauce over them.
We then moved on to our choice of ‘Meats’. We chose the Chicken Thighs Milanese and Stone Grilled Bavette (+HK$15 extra). The chicken thighs came with a type of salsa (pico de gallo) that made you not want to eat them separately and not leave any of the salsa behind! The bavette we asked for medium and that came out just right was some chimichurri on the side. With the Meats we ordered French Fries (nice and crispy) and the Appleslaw.
We were pretty satisfied by this point and luckily the sweets were not too big for us to complete the meal. We ordered both options which were the Chocolate Brownie that came out warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The Café Affogato was espresso with vanilla ice cream. Not too strong and very creamy.
Overall for the price, location, portion size and service I would say that I would be back again soon.
