From Singapore and Jakarta - Three Buns Burgers & Cocktails returns to Potato Head Hong Kong


It must have been successful the first time as Three Buns Burgers & Cocktails has returned to Hong Kong yesterday (6th August 2020) for dine-in and takeaways at Potato Head Hong Kong. The menu includes its signature gourmet burgers, sides, as well as some tropical cocktails that customers can order.

With the current restrictions on dining the full Three Buns Burgers & Cocktails menu will be exclusively available to order for all-day delivery via JIA Everywhere HERE.

Vive Cake Boutique and Sanrio’s Little Twin Stars collaboration

Vive Cake Boutique launched its latest collaboration with world renowned Sanrio named “Wishing Upon a Star” featuring Little Twin Stars

This will include an afternoon tea set as well as a selection of cakes from now until 11 October 2020. For all those Little Twin Stars fans (I know a few) this would be something nice to try and also make sure you get those IG stories and photos.

The KFC plant-based nuggets and burger launches in Hong Kong



KFC have now got involved in plant-based menu items with nuggets and a burger!  Called the New Era Nuggets and the New Era Burger, both items can already be found at selected locations across Hong Kong, which started on 29th June 2020. KFC is collaborating with international lifestyle brand New Era and has launched a special edition 9FIFTY snapback cap, featuring the KFC founder Colonel Sanders. I would be interested in trying both out to see how tasty they are, I can imagine them to be pretty decent.

For beer lovers like myself gweilo beer has made the Portland St Pale Ale exclusively available at Market Place and the promotion for the grand opening is any 3 craft beers at HK$60.

New colourful choices at Pret this Summer in Hong Kong


If you are like me and regularly go to Pret and hopefully see something new each day, that wish has now been granted again. This summer there will be a new selection of tasty food and drinks to choose from that I plan to try.

I have highlighted the ones that I want to try first, which includes some smoked salmon, prawns, pesto chicken, yuzu drink, finished by a Very Berry Croissant!

We have heard some rumours about a new menu and not it is finally here! All I can say is do not look at these photos if you are hungry....

The new menu has been curated by Executive Sous Chef, Cary Docherty and Head Chef, Kenny Chan. The dishes include Mushrooms on Toast (HKD 238) followed by main courses Lobster Thermidor (HKD 598), Beef Wellington - for two (HKD 998), Grilled Bone-In Rib of Pork (HKD 380).

Quick delivery service of store products now available with pandamart by foodpanda


Foodpanda Hong Kong has now launched pandamart. What is the difference with their current food delivery service? Well this is a quick commerce service where the company has its own urban warehouses that can provide delivery of certain items as fast as 15 mins, 24/7. Obviously this service has come about with the rising demand of ordering online in the city.

The platform boasts over 4,000 items including general groceries to household items, you can even get a nice beer or two! They currently have so promotions for this month to obviously attract new members and to offer something back to those that have already signed up.
