Coming back again in Tai Kwun contemporary for the second time - The Hong Kong Art Book Fair "BOOKED" from 16 to 19 January 2020, including a preview on Thursday, 16 January at JC Contemporary and F hall. Over 80 locals, regional and international exhibitors taking part, "BOOKED" will act as a platform for a large variety of artists and publishing practices at the intersection of "art" and "books". Not only artist books, photography books, art albums, zines, art catalogues, art history and theoretical texts, artists editions and gallery editions, texts by artists, book arts and book sculptures. Also, they have included tote bags, pins and badges as well as art-related ephemera.

Besides the exhibition, the fair will also host a programme of talks, live events, displays and workshops. This year, BOOKED: will also be accompanied by a special project, OVERBOOKED: which extends beyond the art book fair until  28  January  2020, featuring features the work of nine international artists:  Fiona  Banner aka The Vanity  Press  (London,  UK),  Karl  Holmqvist  (Berlin,  Germany),  Toshio  Matsumoto  (Japanese,  1932-2017), Aleksandra  Mir  (London,  UK),  Mai-Thu  Perret  (Geneva,  Switzerland),  Kay  Rosen  (Gary,  Indiana  &  New  York,  US), Aïda Ruilova (New York, US), Tsang Kin Wah (Hong Kong SAR), and Wan Lai Kuen Annie (Hong Kong SAR).

Visitors are encouraged to book their free Tai Kwun Pass online via here, prior to visiting for guaranteed admission.
Walk-ins are also welcome, subject to site capacity conditions.
