Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the three-day festival will be held this 4th-6th August in the Hong Kong Coliseum in Hung Hom. The three components of the festival are as follows: Return of the Legends, SMTown Special Stage, and the Festival Zone.
The ultimate matcha experience is now available to guests at locations in Central and at the top of One Peking. Aqua takes the traditional Japanese ingredient and creates three new dishes and two cocktails using the finest matcha sourced from Japan. Dishes such as White miso seared unagi matcha sushi (HK$108), Risotto served with lobster tail, shimeji mushrooms and matcha emulsion (HK$348), and Matcha ice cream with yuzu curd, matcha sponge and Italian meringue (HK$128) will be on offer, as well as specially crafted matcha cocktails Matcha Zen cocktail (HK$158) and The Matcha Colada (HK$158).
Back by popular demand, Hoegaarden is hosting "The Gaarden is Open" late this June. Featuring live music, diy crafts, and special cocktails and gourmet food, the event promises a brief respite from the summer heat right in the middle of Wanchai. With refreshing drinks such as Freezesy Kiwi Cocktail, Lemony Gaarden Cocktail (HK$75 per glass), as well the "Beertail" (HK$80 per glass). Meal options abound, with restaurants Blue Brick Bistro, La Bo La, Le Pain Quotidien, and Bistro Seoul teaming up with Hoegaarden for the event.
