Health & Fitness

If you're ready to improve on your strength, flexibility and overall health, there's no time like the present to update your fitness routine. Hong Kong's home to a number of huge gym chains, but it's easy to feel like you're not getting the best of your workout when you're just one of the masses. Try one of these boutique fitness studios for a more personalised workout experience, so you get more burn for your buck.

Odinson Training & Yoga

Most gyms are one or the other, but this rare gem hidden in Sheung Wan is a hideaway heaven for fitness people who enjoy both hardcore weight training and soulful yoga sessions. Divided into two floors, the lower level provides a zen (and super minimal for the 'grammers) wood and concrete backdrop for yogis, while upstairs' grass carpet and graffiti creates a fun and energetic enviroment for some cardio and weights training.

P.S. Don't miss the fresh-pressed juice and salads at Mr. Green Juice's kiosk, it's the perfect after-workout treat.

11F, The Pemberton, 22 Bonham Strand, Sheung Wan

This fantastic ladies-only boutique gym, created by Bikini Fit founder Alex De Fina, is an answer to the question: what would fitness look like if we cut through all the bullshit? Veering away from ineffective exercise trends and outdated ideas of what it means to be feminine, their goal is to help you become the best version of yourself. With up to fourteen different strength and conditioning classes available, they also offer one-on-one coaching if you're ready to kick things up a notch.

In a city where we're constantly running from one thing to the next, these workouts are perfect for a cheeky endorphin rush during your lunch break.
