Well it is now 2019 and why not enjoy a cake or two to celebrate the new year. Hyatt Regency Sha Tin has got you covered with three new cakes thst you can get from their Patisserie. I do not think the photos really do them justice so we should all get over to the hotel and give them a try at some point before their Pastry Chef Kelvin Lai creates something else new!  So what is included in each of the three new creations? Read below...

Pomelo cheesecake (HK$310 per pound, HK$50 per piece)
Combining aromatic and delectable pomelo paste with cream cheese, this home-baked cheesecake is garnished with a blush of pink pomelo mousse and fresh blueberries, creating an incredibly enticing treat that captures the hearts of kids and adults alike.

Orange chocolate dome (HK$310 per pound, HK$50 per piece)
Layered with almond dacquoise, this cake has a sweet and tangy filling composed of crème brûlée, orange chocolate mousse and blood orange compote and is coated with a rich layer of dark chocolate.
                                                                        
Mango lime dome cake (HK$310 per pound, HK$50 per piece)
Sponge cake layered with apricot jam forms the base, which is topped with creamy mango mousse and fresh mango pulp filling. A delicious dome of lime-zest mousse dressed with a green-coloured chocolate coating is jelled on top, giving a refreshing presentation.
