Valentine’s Day is just round the corner and it’s time to look for a restaurant for that special date with your loved one – our editorial team has again put together the ultimate list for your reference (you’re welcome) and it’s time for you to check them out.  Some of you might not like the idea of dining on V-Day but we will have to say the deals we’ve seen so far are pretty good! (PS we think the ones with * are pretty interesting!)

BERLINER

Kick start V-day with Chestnut and Truffle Soup with Apple and Bacon and savour the palatable Roasted Lamb Rack with Sweet Potato Purée, Slow-roasted Cherry Tomatoes, Balsamic-Red Wine Sauce and Fig Chutney. End the romantic night with a sweet White Chocolate Cheesecake with Raspberries and Pistachio Gelato.

CAFÉ DECO PIZZERIA

The new dining spot Cafe Deco Pizzeria at the hipster area is giving traditions a twist with its 5-course menu this V-day. Highlights include Alaskan king crab meat with Canadian sea urchin, grilled Australian Wagyu (m7) sirloin steak with homemade fries and goose Foie Gras butter, and the tantalising chocolate cannelloni with coconut meringue, berries and passion fruit ice cream.

LA VACHE!

Besides the regular menu (that includes salad with walnuts, prime USDA rib eye, and unlimited fries!), a special faming baked Alaska for two will be available for the Valentine’s Day holiday in addition to La Vache!’s famed dessert cart offerings – a tower of strawberry ice-cream layered with slices of sponge cake is topped with fresh meringue and doused with a healthy pour of triple sec to be flambéed tableside in a dramatic fashion!
