Big Bur, the name itself is dreamy – the Californian coast, wave, unrealistic blue colour…etc. The newly open restaurant in SoHo is not going to give you the view (it’s irreplaceable) but it offers Californian taste and vibe.

Speaking of Californian taste, you can expect ‘Baja’ tacos stuffed with prawns and house made ‘Big Sur-izo’ sausage; charcoal grilled Californian striploin; authentic Santa Maria Tri Tip; pulled pork burger; and whole barbecue seabass on the main course menu and American classics such as Texas Sheet Cake with chocolate glaze and walnuts; crème brulee waffle with homemade coconut ice cream; and baked apple crisp with cinnamon and oatmeal topping on dessert menu.

Another chilling factor of Big Sur is its 15 taps of craft beer at the bar. 14 of them will be local rotating brews created by Hong Kong’s Young Master Brewery, as well as a tap-served gin and tonic. All are perfect match for the barbecue food.

Texas Sheet Stack Cake (HK$90)

Big Sur open from 8am until late daily, it’s a great spot to have lunch, weekend brunch, dinner or simply a drink. Cheers!
