It’s time to eat baos and be merry, because this month it’s Little Bao’s 3rd Anniversary! On top of your regular favourites, chefs from three of the hottest restaurants in town have designed limited edition baos for the occasion. Read more to see what’s up.

For the months of October and November, bao-lovers can order three varieties of limited edition baos.

Last week, you’ll have found a Cuban bao ($88HKD) on the menu by Jowett Yu of Ho Lee Fook—think cubano, but with char siu and swiss cheese, which was available 17-23 Oct.

This week, you can look forward to a Duck Hamburg bao ($88HKD, pictured above) by Yardbird’s Matt Abergel, made with daikon ponzu, yuzu kosho mayo, and napa cabbage. It’s available over the final week of October.

In the first week of November, you can end on a sweet note with the Milk Tea Monster ($48HKD), a milk tea ice cream sandwich with chocolate and marshmallow sauce—dreamed up by Cé La Vi’s pastry chef Jason Licker.

To top off the bao-ntiful celebrations, you can also get some special anniversary merch—tote bags and t-shirts ($280HKD)—with proceeds going to Variety Village, a charity dedicated to raising awareness for those living with physical disability.
