What to Eat

Even the series of novels has ended ten years ago, I’m sure that there are many people like me who still emotionally invested into Harry Potter. In the 20th anniversary of our favourite franchise, there is a Harry Potter themes café in Hong Kong finally. I’m more than thrilled!

Located in Mong Kok, the café is decorated with various props in the film including, the broom, magic wands, the book shelves from library and the most importantly, the half-disappearing trolley at 9¾ station!

Apart from the photogenic setting, the food and drink menu also inspired by the wizard world – you can have the iconic Butter Beer ($48, it actually has no alcohol in it, in case you wonder), Veritaserum ($55) or Amortentia the Love Potion ($55). For the food, Forbidden Forest’s Aragog Salad ($62, shell crab salad), Romanian Longhorn Pumpkin Pasta ($58, named after a dragon from Goblet of Fire), Voldemort’s Kiss ($108, red-wine-braised oxtails).

It sounds like a perfect place to gather all your muggles and childhood friends, I would love to try out the place and report to you later.

Address: Suite 404, Hing Fat Industrial Building, 9 Yin Chong Street, Mong Kok
