Cocotte introduces new summer menu so you can escape the heat and tasting dishes that exude delectable French flavors. Executive Chef, Petrous Moldovan at Cocotte have prepared a host of fresh, light and healthy summer dishes.
A scrumptious choice is the Poached King Crab Leg Served 2 Ways (photo on top, HK$210) with whole pieces of crab leg garnished artfully with fresh avocado slices and chipotle sauce. Served with tomato water poured tableside and drizzled with fragrant avocado oil, this dish is an indulgent yet light treat.
The whole Dover Sole (HK$300) is another delicious summer inspired dish accompanied by tourné chateau potatoes. Garnished with a small bouquet of Thai asparagus, the dish is paired with a healthy virgin sauce made of diced fresh tomatoes, spring onions, black olives, chives, lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil.
For the sweettooth out there, the Crêpes Rhum Orange (HK$100) will have guests wanting more with homemade crêpes soaked in a caramelized orange-rhum sauce and perfumed with vanilla and star anise. Topped with fresh oranges and finished with grenadine confit orange zest, the dessert is as beautiful as it is tasty.
