The contemporary Asian restaurant Fang Fang is now open at Lan Kwai Fong. With the elegant interior design and 130 seats in the restaurant, bar and lounge and two private rooms, Fang Fang is no doubt the new hottest spot in Central.
The modern Asian dishes such as crisp Fang Fang Roasted Duck ($495), Forest Honey Grilled Chilean Seabass ($275) and Fang Fang Style Paneer ($125) are prepared by The Executive Chef Kent Lee Chin Heng, former Executive Chef of Hakkasan Mumbai and Chinese Sous Chef of the renowned modern Chinese concept, Kai Mayfair, recognised as Britain’s Highest Ranked Chinese Restaurant by The Sunday Times in 2012 & 2015.
On the other hand, the cocktail menu is created upon the pillar of the Chinese philosophy - The Five Elements Theory with a focus on regionalism: Water, Wood, Earth, Fire and Metal, with cocktails priced at HK$110 or HK$120.
Fun Fact: Wonder where’s the restaurant name coming from? It’s actually named after the mysterious Chinese opera singer Fang Fang.
