S/S 2012 Collection by Marc Jacobs
This Spring/Summer, Marc presents a pristine and harmonious palette, created with pastels, like mint, pale blue, light grey, ivory, highlighted with popping lemon, emerald and cobalt blue. A selection of fabrics, like silk and gloss satin, are used to highlight different hues and enrich the volumes. Marc Jacobs has also applied plenty innovative fabrics on apparels, including translucent cellophane organza, sheen lame embroidery, luxurious sequin tull, for razzle-dazzle visual impact, versatile texture and added glamour. Classic 「Gingham」checks can be seen on several pieces for innocence and cool styles.

The meticulous Marc Jacobs spares no effort on details. Many dresses, tops, and skirts are embellished with fringes.
