Buon appetito! To kick off the new year, the multi-award-winning Executive Head Chef Davide Degioanni is coming to bring sunshine to Test Kitchen with his sublime Italian menu in a four-night pop-up. Born and raised in Northern Italy, Degiovanni charges the team at Gordon Ramsay's Union Street Cafe in south London where his creative dishes celebrate the finest seasonal ingredients that will also feature in his menu in Hong Kong. Davide's experience delivers a culinary resume of serious class, with stints running restaurants for The Four Seasons, one Michelin-starred Ristorante Sempliceand time as sous chef at one Michelin-starred Locanda Locatelli, one of the UK's finest Italian restaurants, before running Ramsay's Union Street Café since 2013. So come and start off your new year with a taste of Italy.

Ocean Park Conservation Foundation Hong Kong is calling for attention to Hongkongers to join its much anticipated Conservation Day on 11-12 January 2020. In this 25th year, the event will let visitors learn more about the local biodiversity and understand the urgency of conserving endangered species through a slew of pop-up activities in Ocean Park over the weekend. This year, their main focus on horseshoe crabs, providing an up-close and personal opportunity to discover these living species as well as providing guests with an opportunity to learn more about them at the limited time "Horseshoe Crab Discovery Centre". Additionally, Ocean Park will be donating all admission fees collected on 11 January 2020 to the conservation foundation in support the wildlife conservation work across in Asia.
